Last week we had a routine check on our perfectly functioning AC and discovered that mice had had a party in our outdoor unit, which was common for this brand and model. Sadly, this meant we 'needed a new capacitor, contactor, and fan motor' because the wires had been chewed. Our professional technician gave us a quote of repair for half the cost of a new AC system and encouraged us to buy a new unit, 'given the age and everything.' Because the AC system had been running beautifully, we continued to get second opinions and we are so grateful we did!! After a week of bearing the heat without AC, we stumbled across Comfort Solutions and asked them to come take a look. They were here the first possible hour that I could be here, checked out the unit, made some common sense repairs including a new capacitor, provided professional advice, and tested the system all at a FRACTION of the original 'repair' price quoted by more commonly known HVAC companies. Now we can put that $7,000 towards something we truly need! We plan to have them come out for our furnace check soon and every year hereafter!!! Writing this from my now comfortably cooled home.

Justin came out recently to give us a second opinion on our furnace. The technician from the HVAC company we had used since 2012 told us that our heat exchanger was cracked and we?d either need to replace the part or buy a new system. He also told me that we?d have to keep our furnace off or we?d run the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. He added that our pets would die first. It was about 20 degrees that day. He was trying to use a lot of scare tactics with me to get me to have it taken care of right then and there. He offered to have someone come to our home later that evening to measure and see what size of new furnace we would need and give us an idea for options. He told us there would be no pressure to buy now and they could provide us with space heaters to keep us comfortable. The sales representative came by later that evening and wanted to sit down and talk before he did any measuring. His first question was ?what amount would you like to keep your payments at?? We new right away that this was not going to be a ?no pressure? situation. 2 1/2 hours later this person was not getting the hint that we needed time to think about it and was trying everything he could think of to get us to sign a contract right then and there. At this point we already new that we were getting a second opinion. I?m so glad we saw right through all of their tactics. Justin confirmed that there was no problem with our heat exchanger and that our family was not in any danger of dying in our sleep! We can not thank Comfort Solutions enough for their honesty and integrity.

Last fall Justin came out to service our furnace for routing maintenance and I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and the desire to explain everything. He did our A/C maintenance this spring as part of his maintenance agreement. He did a great job and didn't try to up sale anything. I couldn't have been more impressed until last night. The a/c was not working yesterday. I reached out to Justin who got right back to me after explaining that I didn't expect a reply until the next business day. He gave me a few things to trouble shoot but with nothing simple that I could do that was resolving the problem. He offered to come out early the next morning prior to trying to get out of town for vacation. He came out today on time. Quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the shorted fuse. Simple fix without trying to up sale. We are up and running. If he had told me I needed a new system I would have asked when can you do it. I trust him to take care of HVAC needs. Justin is honest, knowledgeable, punctual and courteous. I cannot say enough good things about his services. I wouldn't call anybody else!

He told us there would be no pressure to buy now and they could provide us with space heaters to keep us comfortable. The sales representative came by later that evening and wanted to sit down and talk before he did any measuring. His first question was ?what amount would you like to keep your payments at?? We new right away that this was not going to be a ?no pressure? situation. 2 1/2 hours later this person was not getting the hint that we needed time to think about it and was trying everything he could think of to get us to sign a contract right then and there. At this point we already new that we were getting a second opinion. I?m so glad we saw right through all of their tactics. Justin confirmed that there was no problem with our heat exchanger and that our family was not in any danger of dying in our sleep! Justin just installed a new AC unit, furnace, and water heater in our house and we could not have picked a better person/company to go with. Justin really knows his stuff and is very highly qualified. He only installs top of the line equipment which was huge for us. We got multiple quotes and these guys blew everyone else out of the water as far as what you get for the cost. Nobody will beat these guys’s price. These guys have another customer for life now.

I Highly recommend Comfort Solutions Heating and Air. I never trust these kinds of bussiness because I have a had a Horrible experience with a very Burton Heating and Plumbing Company in Omaha they said our Furnace and Air was shot and was going to charge us $12,000 to $15,000 Dollars for a new one. That was 5 years ago and we still have our originally unit 30 years old. Jason and his company is so honest and very knowledgeable. He explains things and he doesn't try to sell us brand new. Called Burton when our AC stopped working. They came out and told us it was cheaper to replace our whole HVAC system then to fix the problem. Called Justin for a second opinion and not only did he debunk the Burton lies but found the true issue (just a bad blower motor) and replaced it the same day on his already full schedule. He is the most honest and fair priced guy out there. Will never use anyone else and will recommend to everybody.

Last fall Justin came out to service our furnace for routing maintenance and I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and the desire to explain everything. He did our A/C maintenance this spring as part of his maintenance agreement. He did a great job and didn't try to up sale anything. I couldn't have been more impressed until last night.
The a/c was not working yesterday. I reached out to Justin who got right back to me after explaining that I didn't expect a reply until the next business day. He gave me a few things to trouble shoot but with nothing simple that I could do that was resolving the problem. He offered to come out early the next morning prior to trying to get out of town for vacation. He came out today on time. Quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the shorted fuse. Simple fix without trying to up sale. We are up and running.
If he had told me I needed a new system I would have asked when can you do it. I trust him to take care of HVAC needs. Justin is honest, knowledgeable, punctual and courteous. I cannot say enough good things about his services. I wouldn't call anybody else!

Comfort Solutions came and saved the day when another company tried to scam me and convince me that I needed a new furnace, and that I should spend AT LEAST $3000 with their company!!! They used scare tactics to make me think my furnace was going to poison me and my baby with carbon monoxide. Justin and Dan came out and found that our current unit was just fine, just in need of a good cleaning and a $40 part. They showed me everything they did to our unit, and explained the process of his work in detail. To top it off, he even installed a new carbon monoxide detector for me in my basement. I can’t say enough positive things about this company. They’re honest, helpful, and thorough. We’ll use Comfort Solutions exclusively for our heating and AC needs.

Justin did a full install at our house in Beaver Lake when our system went out. New heat pump outside, and dual stage blower with a whole home humidifier inside.
